There are remnants of the church dating back to 11th century: the northern part of the transept, half of the wall of the apse, two lower vaulted rooms can still be seen. Historians consider this place as the cradle of the town. The terraces were renovated in 2012 and are now open to the public.
Guided tours are available by reservation at the Tourist Information Centre on 05.55.02.17.93.
